Washburn 80s Vintage A15 Guitar Hand Signed by Johnny Winter!
Anybody who knows me, knows I have an affinity for some of these Washburns from the 80’s.
This one is a cool little oddity that came from the original owner and was hand signed by Johnny Winter back in 1988 or 1989.
It has been customized a bit, the pickups are non-original (although 2 of the 3 originals are included with the guitar).
The pick guard is original, but has been painted.
Overall the guitar is pretty darn clean for a 40 year old piece. It shows minimal dings and is extremely playable.
The finish is in great shape for its age, with a few small dings here and there, but overall, for this type of guitar, from back in the day, its super clean.
GREAT neck on this one, as most of these were, it plays well and the frets are in very good condition as well.
The signature has been clear coated to preserve it.
What you see is what you get. It’s a very cool, vintage conversation piece that also happens to be a blast to play.
No case with this one, but I will find a bag of some sort to ship it in.
