Warmoth Partscaster Heavy Relic Strat Guitar W/Bareknuckle P90’s/Hard Case.

In general I am not a huge fan of Partscaster guitars. They tend to vary widely in quality regardless of the components and its more dependent upon who built they than anything else. That being said, this one is a home run!

Very cool heavy relic painted over finish in Fiesta Red over white.

The Bareknuckle P90’s are simply awesome. The Blend knob for the middle pickup is a great feature.

Great playing neck, the frets have been dressed and it plays exceptionally well. This is one of those sleeper guitars that you don’t want to put down once you pick it up and play it.

Comes as pictured with hard case and trem bar.

Overview: Warmoth Partscaster guitar made with what appears to be an ash body and Warmoth neck that appears to be roasted maple with an ebony board. The neck is a “Clapton” soft V shape.

The hardware is all good-quality, vintage-style stuff and it has a pair of Bare Knuckle P90s in the bridge and middle positions and a Strat-style pickup at the neck. It is obviously a Heavy Relic Painted Over type finish in Fiesta Red fover white.

Tone: While it has some Straty tones in the mix, the P90s give it more snarl and punch. It’s sort-of a “Strat at the neck” and “LP Jr at the bridge” kind-of guitar — suited especially for a player who likes more of a clean, clear, Fendery neck/backup tone and more of a lead/attack and girth at the bridge without going right into humbucker midsyness.

Feel: The neck is quick but a little retro with its mild V shape to the rear.

Interesting features: Like a 3-pickup Les Paul, the 3-way switch is wired for the usual “neck-both-bridge” switching as if it were a 2-pickup guitar, but there’s an additional volume knob (triangular one) that lets you blend-in the middle pickup whenever you want.
