This model is a Rocket EXP which was built specially for me.
This is a brand new, built by my friends at Trainwreck, John Mark and Danny Muro. It is in new condition, exactly as I took it out of the box.
Her name is Christine.
It has unbelievable articulation and an incredible amount of gain on tap.
Extremely versatile, this amp is everything you have heard about the legendary Trainwreck circuitry and then some. The range of tones that this amp will cover is incredible. It is, of course, incredibly touch sensitive, incredibly musical, and just plain fun to play. The clarity and articulation of each note, especially when dialing in some higher gain is astounding.
Not only that, it is a visually stunning amp. Brazilian cherry (jatoba) cabinet with birds-eye flame maple face. A more classy looking amp you will not find.
It sports a a quartet of el84’s and pushes about 60 watts. This amp is PLENTY of power, but the really cool thing about it is that you can actually get killer tones at living room volume which is something I have never seen in a non-master volume amp in my life.
