Roadhouse USA:

Guild F-55E Maple Jumbo Acoustic/Electric Guitar Antique Sunburst W/OHSC.

I love these Guild guitars. I have owned a few of them over the years and they are incredible. The tone out of these just plain kills anything Gibson puts out in this price range. They are not only extremely well made, they are incredibly playable and beautiful as well.

This guitar is in incredible shape and has no issues.

The rosewood back and sides are awesome. The finishing touch is the best acoustic pickup system on the market, the LR Baggs Anthem. About the only thing this guitar won’t do is play itself.

Comes as pictured with original, very deluxe case that even has a built in humidifier and all the paperwork and case candy you see pictured.

Stellar guitar, save over a grand off of new price and get this one in basically ‘new’ condition.

Specs/info:

A legend returns in the Guild F-55E Maple. This beautifully crafted acoustic-electric jumbo combines premium tonewoods, handcrafted construction, and gorgeous aesthetics to create an exquisite USA-crafted acoustic-electric guitar. Its Sitka spruce top pairs beautifully with an arched flame maple back and flame maple sides to deliver a powerful, beautifully balanced sound forged by Guild’s custom bracing and amplified flawlessly by onboard LR Baggs Anthem electronics. As your eyes drink in this instrument’s understated elegance, your hands savor its flawless playability and your ears revel in its rich, organic tone. The Guild F-55E Maple is a feast for the senses.

“Tone Cannon” volume and projection

One of the most immediate things that you will notice with the F-55E Maple is the volume you get even with the most moderate strumming. The tonewoods and jumbo body style of the F-55E are built for big sound. You can explore nearly any style on the F-55E — folk, country, rock, and more. The F-55E is also great for fingerpicking. That means you’ll be able to play with nuance, flowing between delicate passages and aggressive runs. Where other guitars may top out and start to sound indistinct, the F-55E Maple remains clear and focused.

Exceptional tonewoods deliver timeless tone

The Guild F-55E Maple combines a toneful Sitka spruce top with sides and arched back of premium flamed maple. Maple is known for its sonic transparency, which makes it highly reflective of your personal playing style. Used for the back and sides of this guitar, maple is complemented by a solid Sitka spruce top. As a top tonewood, Sitka spruce offers a combination of strength and elasticity that delivers a broad dynamic range with crisp articulation that’s ideal for a wide range of playing styles, from delicate fingerpicking to aggressive flatpicked strumming. Together with Guild’s Scalloped X Adirondack spruce top bracing, these premium tonewoods make for a highly responsive and expressive instrument.

Perfect amplified tone from LR Baggs Anthem electronics

The LR Baggs Anthem Tru-Mic Acoustic Pickup will change the way you look at mic pickups. This feedback-busting, natural-sounding pickup is the result of over 30 years of development. There’s no modeling and no illusions going on here. The Anthem is strictly a well-designed microphone that picks up your guitar — clean, clear, and full of dynamics. While many guitar mics are prone to feedback or sound annoyingly boxy, the LR Baggs Anthem is like having your acoustic sound just “turned up,” so it’s full of detail, warmth, and personality — and feedback-free.
