2016 Gibson Custom Shop True Historic Les Paul ’57 Goldtop Guitar.
If you are reading this, you know what it is. The True Historic LP’s continue to climb in value and are rare to find at any price.
First of all, this guitar is in unplayed condition. It was collector (one owner) owned and was not played.
Unfortunately, it went through some cold weather on its journey to me and there is some finish checking that you can ONLY SEE AT CERTAIN ANGLES!!!
I used a bright light to take pictures of the guitar to show the checking, otherwise they would not show up. I also included other pictures from a different angle in the same lighting so you can see that the checking is not visible at all. This is checking, NOT finish cracks. They are not at the surface and you cannot feel them with your fingers. As you can see, they are visible at one angle and then they disappear from another angle.
Again, this guitar has not been played and is flawless other than the checking, which gives the appearance of an Ultra-Light Murphy Goldtop LP.

Plays perfectly and is all around a totally stunning Les Paul.
Comes as pictured with ALL original case candy, COA etc. I believe I even have the original cardboard shipping box for it.
Again, the True Historic Les Pauls are rare and incredible guitars. They did not make tons of them and as a result there are few around for sale.
