2016 Gibson Custom Shop Rick Nielsen Signature ‘59 True Historic Les Paul W/COA/OHSC
Here’s a VERY cool Rick Nielsen Signature ’59 that you won’t find anywhere for this type of price.
This is the Vintage Gloss model R9. Only 150 of these were made and this is #71.

It has been played. There are dings here and there as you can see by the pics. Nothing too bad, nothing structural, no breaks or repairs obviously, but its got some wear and at this point, is basically the Aged version in nature rather than the Vintage Gloss if you will.
The neck is superb as you would expect, it plays great and the frets show a small amount of wear, but are a long way from needing a crown/level.
The pickups were changed to a set of ReWind Low Winds in Double Cream, which sound exceptional, and the pots are 550k CTS with Luxe Bee caps.
It comes as pictured with original case, COA and paperwork.
Keep in mind, these Nielsen Signature ’59’s were True Historics. Gibson only did the True Historics for a couple of years and having owned a number of them, they are the best of the best.
While this guitar shows some honest play wear, it has not been abused and is just dripping MOJO.
This is a rare opportunity to get a Rick Nielsen Signature ’59 LP at a decent price.
