Description
Roadhouse USA:
2011 Ron Thorn Custom Guitars SoCal Guitar Black Limba/Korina W/OHSC.
This is an exquisite Custom Shop SoCal guitar from former head of the Fender Custom Shop, Ron Thorn!
Thorn has long been known as one of the best master builders in the world, which is why Fender put him in charge of the Custom Shop. His stint with Fender finished, he is back building cusomt, hand built guitars with his own, Thorn Custom Guitars.
This example is awesome to say the least. Black limba top, korina neck, it plays as great as it looks.
The neck is perfect and the frets show little, if any wear.
The cosmetic condition is very good+++ to excellent with some pin-point dings on the face that you can see pictured. Otherwise it is excellent.
The gold hardware has preserved perfectly and its is evident that the guitar has been played sparingly and lovingly.
Comes as pictured with paperwork and the original gray tweed G&G case.
A new build of this guitar would run you over $8k from Thorn. Get this one for less than 1/2 that.
