2011 Don Grosh Retro Classic Strat Guitar Metallic Shoreline Gold H/S/S W/OHSC.

I am a well documented fan of Don Grosh guitars. In fact, over the years of selling thousands and thousands of high end guitars, Don Grosh and Tom Anderson guitars are the only ones the I play personally and I believe are the two greatest guitar makers in the world today.

The Retro Classic is a staple of the Grosh line and this one is in the sought after H/S/S configuration, the vast majority being traditional S/S/S strat style.

The Retro Classic is simply what a Fender Strat wishes it could be and I will leave it at that.

These guitars have such great feel and so much mojo, that once you play one, you will never feel the same way about a Fender again.

This guitar has some mild wear and some very mild finish checking that you can only see from certain angles. It is a VERY thin Nitro finish that Grosh uses on these guitars and frankly, they are made to finish check. This is nothing you can feel with your fingers, its all under the surface checking.

The Shoreline Gold finish is a classic, and this one is Metallic Shoreline Gold, which was a $150 up-charge at the time. Killer finish.

Other than that, the guitar is superb. The neck is sublime and the frets are in great shape.

There are a plethora of tones thanks to the the push/pull for the humbucker and the awesome blend control that Grosh has used for decades on these great guitars.

Comes as pictured with original paperwork and the very deluxe G&G case that these guitars come with.

If you want a modern strat that feels like a vintage strat, it does not get any better than this.
