2007 Gibson Custom Shop Inspired By John Lennon Les Paul Junior Aged Faded Cherry-W/OHSC.
Rare and tough to find at this point, this was a very cool run done by the Gibson Custom Shop in 2007 and limited to only 300 guitars worldwide.
This one is different than most you may find for sale in that it actually comes with the original artwork, COA, and even the t-shirt that was issued with these.
The guitar was collector owned and is in unplayed condition, showing only the aging work done by Gibson.
Comes as pictured with original case and all the swag you see pictured.
Excellent, collector’s grade classic. If you are a Lennon fan, you NEED this in your life:)
Specs/info:
2007 Custom Shop John Lennon Les Paul Junior, this one being number 210 of only 300 made. The Gibson Custom Shop did an incredible job replicating Lennon’s original guitar that began its life as a Junior that he had taken to Long Island luthier Ron DeMarino for modifications that included a conversion to a two-pickup guitar with the Charlie Christian neck pickup and an ABR-1 bridge. The Gibson Custom Shop replicated the original guitar perfectly, recreating wear patterns and the cherry red finish which the guitar was eventually refinished to after the sunburst was sanded away.
It is of course, all stock and original.
