To the best of my knowledge, this guitar has been refinished by Willcutt Guitars in 2016. As you can see, if that is the case, they did an incredible job on it. This is not only the storied 40th Anniversary R9, but one of the most visually stunning guitars you will ever see.
As I understand it, there were less than 40 of these guitars made that were given the KT designation. Not only is this one of them, you can certainly see why it was.
It is in excellent condition. The neck is superb and the frets are in great condition.
It comes with everything you see pictured from the COA to all the hang tags etc.
An awesome and rare 40th Anniversary ’59, it would sit well as the centerpiece of any collection.
