1985 Hamer USA Scepter Guitar Boomerang Inlays Black & Red W/OHSC.
Awesome and hard to find, this is a very cool Scepter from back in the day.
Solid mahogany body, maple neck and ebony fingerboard with color matched headstock.
It has its original EMG 58 in the neck position and an EMG 81 in the bridge position.
1 volume, 1 tone pot and a 3-Way toggle switch, its original CTS pots dating to the 46th week of 1985.
The 24.75″ scale length neck has mother of pearl boomerang inlays and white side markers with 22 jumbo frets on a 12″ radius with a medium C profile.
The hardware is comprised of black Schaller sealed Die-Cast tuning machines with cloche heads, a Floyd Rose locking nut, retrofitted with a Kahler tremolo bridge and black knurled knobs.
The guitar is in very good+ vintage condition. There are some very minor obligatory touch ups on the points, but nothing major and nothing like you usually see with these guitars.
I have black-lighted it and no breaks or repairs. Just a super clean vintage guitar.
It has been set up and man does it PLAY. Great low action, this thing smokes. You won’t find a better playing one.
Comes as pictured with original Hamer hard case, also in very good condition.
