This one is as beautiful as it is rare: the much sought after mid-80’s Brian May Signature!

I would say that I have no idea if it is a 1985 or a 1986. There are several experts on these rarities who might know, but the serial # charts that I have seen are probably less than accurate at best. Supposedly there were less than 350 of these made and according to Ron Thorn who IS an expert on Brian May guitars and was most recently Principle Master Builder at the Fender Custom Shop, there were far less made. He has stated that he has never seen one with a serial number under 100 and his estimation is that there were 216 made. Either way, this guitar is exceedingly rare.
This was a one-owner guitar and it was babied.
It is in very good to excellent vintage condition. As you can see by the pics, there is one solitary ding on the side and thats really it. No other evidence of any real play wear at all.
The neck is great, frets are great, it plays well. It has obviously been stored in its case the majority of its life.
As you can also see, Brian May signed the top in 2002.
The guitar is all original and everything functions as it should.
It comes as pictured with the original Guild hard case that these were issued with.
There has been much written about these guitars so I will assume that whoever is reading this knows the history. This one is a sweetheart with the added bonus of having been hand signed by Brian May as well.
Get it while you can.
