This is one of the nicest early 80’s LP Customs that I have had in recent memory.
All original and in very good to even excellent vintage condition.
There are a few minor marks here and there (pictured) but overall, this guitar is extremely clean.
The neck is superb and shows very little fret wear as opposed to many of these that the frets are so worn down there is no option other than a re-fret. Not so with this beauty.
As you can see, the figuring on the top shows as well or better than any Custom in Wine Red that I have seen. Very classy looking guitar.
The gold hardware is also in great shape and it plays exactly like you would want it to.
Comes with what appears to be the original Gibson case, although it could have also been a chainsaw case in this era.
Overall, this is about as nice an example of an ’81 Custom as you are likely to find. Whether you are a collector or plan to take this one to the stage, it is ready to go and you will not be disappointed!
