Description
Roadhouse USA:
1968 Original Fender Corodano II Wildwood III Hollowbody Guitar Purple/Gold W/OHSC.
Near mint condition. You will not find a better example of this guitar anywhere. I cannot find a mark on it, I just don’t like to list 50+ year old guitars as being mint.
Fender’s Wildwood guitars were built from died beech trees, which gave them a bizarre yet strangely beautiful look. This Coronado II example features a fully hollow body with a pair of DeArmond pickups and is of course, all original.
Comes complete with the various case candy you see, as well as the original Victor hard case.

The 1968 Fender Wildwood I Coronado II is a striking and somewhat rare model from Fender’s mid-century catalog, blending classic design elements with a touch of unique flair. Sporting a distinctive semi-hollow body construction, this guitar is characterized by its sleek, contoured shape, which provides a comfortable playing experience and a resonant, rich tone.
This Coronado features a laminated maple top and back, with a center block that reduces feedback while maintaining a warm, articulate sound. Its natural finish is visually stunning, with the deep, vibrant green dye enhanced by the guitar’s glossy finish.
Equipped with two single-coil pickups, the Wildwood II offers a wide range of tones, from bright and twangy to warm and bluesy. The distinctive “F” logo on the headstock and the unique Fender-branded hardware contribute to its vintage appeal. The guitar also includes a distinctive offset body shape and a set neck, which add to its playability and aesthetic charm.
