Very cool, very original ’62 Melody Maker.
These guitars are fun to play and represent probably the best value in vintage Gibson’s from this era that exist.
24.75” scale, Brazilian Rosewood fretboard.
Nitro finish, the same as the higher end models from the period.
This example remains in very good condition and is entirely original.
Check out the pictures. There are some marks here and there and light finish checking as you would expect, but nothing major and no repairs or alterations.
Plays great and the single coil pickup sounds quite strong, better than most you’ll find in this model and vintage.
Includes it’s original alligator case (I’ll call it a hard case for lack of a better word:) that is almost impossible to find intact with one of these guitars.
Overall a great bit of Gibson history at a nice price.
